For Women's History Month, I'll be celebrating women writers on Damian Barr's Literary Salon Facebook and Instagram. I'll be going even deeper into books where women tell their own stories, from memoir to fiction and autofiction. I will feature: 'The Diary of A Young Girl' by Anne Frank, 'Persepolis' by Marjane Satrapi, 'The First Woman' by Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi, 'The Handmaid's Tale' by Margaret Atwood, 'The Dance Tree' by Kiran Millwood Hargrave and 'The Giver of Stars' by Jojo Moyes - which premiered at one of Damian's Salons!
